  • If you are submitting mixed-species samples, please go to isolation service. After obtaining pure cultures from isolation process, our staff will inform you to submit an identification service request.
  • If you are submitting pure cultures, you can directly submit an identification service request.

Learn more about molecular identification and MALDI-TOF identification of microorganisms

  • TBRC accepts pure isolates of most groups of bacteria, yeasts and filamentous fungi for molecular identification (DNA sequence analysis) and only accepts pure isolate of bacteria and yeasts for MALDI-TOF identification.
  • TBRC does not accept isolates of patient or diseased animal origins. TBRC does not accept isolates of diseased plant origins from overseas.
