The depositor may request the deposited viruses free of charge for the first two requests.

• TBRC accepts viruses classified in Risk Group 1 or 2 that have been cited or to be published in scientific literature or have special properties or characteristics such as use in clinical research or production of viral vaccines.


• Those who wish to deposit a virus at TBRC are obliged to agree with the TBRC deposit policy and terms and conditions, and should submit a deposit form through the TBRC website prior to sending the virus.


• The depositor should follow instructions for sending virus for deposit at TBRC.


• Preservation and quality tests take approximately 60 to 90 days.
